Personally when i installed my new Engine. I noticed that it worked best for me to have new Injector spacer cups. Pulling the old spacer cups off of my old head i found to be rather daunting. outstanding product
The engine is as stated, new engine the only issue that caused me not to award 5 stars was the engine packaging was substandard. packaging was destroyed in shipment. I have ran around 10,000 miles on the engine since it was installed and had no issues. Company personnel were great, pleasure dealing with them. next time I need a Toyota engine I will call them first.

Brand NEW 2.7 liter engine for my Tacoma
After searching (and researching) prices for a used, or rebuilt engine, I found this site. I ordered the engine to be shipped to another state (to a shop where my truck was at the time). Engine Monster quickly shipped the engine, which arrived in good shape. The shop removed the old engine, and swapped over all the necessary parts to the new engine, and installed it. So far, so good. After first 2,000 miles- no problems!

Hi, David in Darrow Louisiana, Figured it was about time to update my review ... since purchasing the engine, I now have close to 2000 miles on it ... there's nothing wrong with any aspects of the engine, all is well and I have to say thank you very much for your support of such a great product so far so good and blessings to all of your staff for helping me keep my girl on the road ... the other engine lost its head at 335600 miles bless her for lasting that long tysvvm for everything ...

2.7 toyota engine
works as advertised. It is a new motor and runs great also had to replace the original clutch it finally gave out at 306,350 miles. and #3 cylinder was dead. Now the truck runs just as new gotta love it.
