After a bad experience with buying a rebuilt 22r from a local shop, I gave APR Auto a shot instead and have not been disappointed! Engine was received in a timely manner and it looked like a piece of jewelry it was so clean. Machine work was excellent and it runs smooth as butter. These guys definitely take pride in their craftsmanship when it comes to building these old Toyota engines the right way. If you don't want to wait a long time sending your original engine core off to one of the big name shops waiting forever to get it rebuilt, gives these guys a call because their engines are worth every penny and their warranty is great!

I had Evolution Automotive next door install this new motor into my 1985 toyota motorhome and so far it's been excellent! Good power, idles smooth and starts right up! Would definitely recommend if you need a replacement 22re, Luke was very helpful steering me through the process and answering any questions I had! Highly recommend!!

We love our engine,had to do a little bit of twerking to the timing,other then that it runs and sounds good.

Engine started right up and runs smoothly with no noise. I used the "Right Stuff" for pan gasket. None was provided with the gasket kit. I installed new Water Pump Fan Clutch Motor mounts Clutch and Pressure plate Clutch slave and Master cylinder All belts and hoses
