Freight Shipping in the Lower 48
Our engines are shipped on a freight truck. They are strapped to a pallet in a large box. Please see our "Damaged or Lost Goods" page. The core engine is shipped back to us the same manner we ship to you: strapped on a pallet. If you are shipping to a storefront, shipping and handling is $200.00. There is a $75 residential fee if you are shipping to a residence. Once on the truck, it average shipping takes 3 to 5 business days. There is no guarantee on shipping time. Shipping time cannot be controlled, and is only an estimate not a promise.
You will need a way to get your engine off the freight truck! If you use the freight company's lift gate service then they will charge you between $75 and $175 just for that service. The engines weigh between 202 and 324 pounds (depending on which one you get). If you do not have a dock or forklift then usually 2 or 3 people can lift the engine off the truck. Another option: you can back up to the trailer and slide the pallet onto the bed of a pick-up truck. Please let us know if you have any questions about the shipping process.

Centrally located in Colorado Springs, CO, most of our packages take 3 to 5 days to get to you. We use UPS Ground unless otherwise specified by the customer. Please note that shipping UPS Next Day Air, 2nd Day Air, and 3rd Day Select will incur a fee. We also use the US Postal Service.
